GPs I Have Known

The principal use of Gaussian processes in machine learning seems to be in regression (and the related problem of classification).  I will talk about a number of other applications that I have been involved with, concentrating on the use of GPs to emulate complex computer simulators.

Although the applications are diverse, the challenges are similar in the various uses of GPs, and I will describe approaches to tackling them.
