10th February 2003 - Game Theory
Sham is going to lead a session on Game theory.
This meeting will begin at 12:00. The recommended reading is:Sham says:
I will concentrate on the connections between linear programming (LP) and game theory in addition to other introductory material. The topics I will try to cover are:
- Nash equilibria (sketch of existence proof and computation thereof)
- correlated equilibria (and the LP formulation)
- rationality
- zero-sum games
- mini-max theorem (LP and duality)
We probably won't have time, but I might try to make a few comments on:
- Bayesian games
- evolutionary game theory
