Lorenz Wernisch, Iosofina Pournara and Kenneth Evans are going to be presenting.
Lorenz says: We will to discuss scores for Bayesian networks on continuous variables. A Gaussian score is discussed in a paper by Heckerman. We will show how well this score and similar ones are doing on (simulated) gene regulatory networks. If time permits we would like to discuss a nonlinear regression score as suggested in a paper by Imoto et al and about our (preliminary) experiments with nonlinear regression networks using a framework set out by Chris Holmes.
Kenneth Evans will be talking about Eran Segal's paper "From Promoter Sequence to Expression a probabilistic framework".
