David MacKay will talk about "Two errors in my book".
It's always nice to end up knowing less. In this talk I will discuss the connection between two not-obviously-connected errors in my book. One of them is on page 261.
The back-ground material is the first two pages of Chapter 18 (pp260-261) of David's book. Also Exercise 2.25 (p37).
