Emailing me

Prospective students: Please read my information for you before emailing me.

What to call me: whoever you are, you can just call me Iain (pronunced the same as Ian), in person or in email. If you’re uncomfortable being informal, Professor Murray or Dr Murray are fine too (pronunciation). IPA pronunciation for my full name: 'iən 'mɜːi. The first letter of Iain is an upper-case ‘i’ not a lower-case ‘L’. My pronouns are he/him.

You can encrypt your email to me, although this is not expected. In fact it has been a long time since anyone did this, so it may take me a while to work out how to decrypt your message...
