I successfully completed my PhD at Gatsby in 2011, supervised by Peter Dayan. In march 2011 I moved to the University of Colorado at Boulder to the Computational Cognitive Neuroscience Lab supervised by Randy O'Reilly.
My main research interests lie in modelling of prefrontal cortex and executive control. In particular, I'm interested in the amazing flexibility
of human control and its ability to rapidly adapt to novel tasks, either through efficient trial and error learning or through the help of instruction.
I am interested in identifying some of the computational principals and requirements that allows the brain to achieve these and see if any of
these principals can be applied to artificial learning agents and neural networks. In addition to these more abstract and basic research questions,
I also have an interest in the more applied settings of using machine learning techniques to interprete neural recordings and other signals
in the field of Brain-Computer-Interfaces to help severely impaired patients communicate again.
