Simulations of the hippocampal system

The workshop aims to allow the exchange of experiences and opinions about the functional characteristics of the hippocampal areas as modelled by the participants.

Researchers that model or have modelled parts of the hippocampal system are welcome to present thier findings.

We propose to first go through the trisynaptic circuit feed forward, discussing the EC, DG, CA3, CA1/subiculum respectively. Then we could discuss any large scale models.

There may be a number of place cell simulations. Place cell theory may deserve a separate slot.

Organized by F. Rincker, M. Meeter and L. Talamini.
