CNS 246 is a graduate level project-based class which intends to introduce students to the issues and techniques involved in collecting and analyzing multi-neuron data. It will be offered for the first time in the fall term of 1996.Students will work on projects either alone or in pairs. Those who pair up are strongly encouraged to find a partner with a different background; that is we hope to see experimental biologists working with theoreticians and engineers. The class is 9 units (2-6-1) and graded pass/fail.
