About Me

A picture of me

I am currently a MPhil/PhD student at the Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit working with Yee Whye Teh on nonparametric Bayesian models for NLP.

I have a MSc Intelligent Systems from UCL (thesis work on spike sorting supervised by Frank Wood) and a BSc Cognitive Science from the University of Osnabrück where I worked with Stefan Evert.

My main research interest lies in the area of machine learning, its theory and its applications. I am particularly interested in developing new models and inference algorithms within the Bayesian framework and applying these to problems in the field of cognitive science and (computational) linguistics.
